I hope AJ can help us out Rex, this is my first workshop skin and learned myself all just for fun, I never thought I could do, make or create a skin and learning Gimp aswell.
Rex first of all many thanks for the help, tips and advice I really appreciate it a lot.
Maybe I may not publish a skin for some reason, something keeps me from Publishing it.
AJ, I can publish my skins now. The reason why I could not upload my first skin I ever made the AMCAR "General Overkill" was that I renamed the original names into my own one and this was the reason why I got the can not copy etc error code.
I then opened up my pattern and skin files and exported them as the original names but added just some characters so I knew which file what was and I did not mixed all up. Then made the same skin again and publishing it was easy peasy.
After making some skins and clicking on save my Payday 2 crashed and when I fired my Payday up I got a black loading screen and crashed, I was in the Payday 2 chat and they said remove the workshop folder out of your Payday 2 folder and copied it to my desktop, and gues what? Payday 2 was running again like a dream.
I had these crashes every single time but I now know how to fix it, sometimes it is not great to do all over again because the game crashed while editing or making a skin but then I just do the same again until I can publish it without problems. I sometimes had to do things 3 times just to be able to make screenshots out of it.
Sorry for my wall of text AJ and I hope you can understand what I wrote down, I am always willing to help out or give as much info as I can.
