Opposite of the Tinkrell
Okay, I have six out of seven playable vanilla factions with an opposite modded counterpart. The Tinkrell are obviously going to be the hardest to make an opposite of. Ideas?

cant think of a name... but maybe the faction uses many different types of lasers instead of one cannon with many different types of modules

Faction "Illumenit" with low damage pull lasers and melee armors have armor=100000 to reflect tinkrell cannon bullets. Melee is opposite of snipe. Too many lasers is just the same as tinkrell big cannon.

Since the Tinkrell are more about long ranged, I say go close. Meaning shotguns and short range, high fire rate guns.

Well the tinkrell have range and damage amps seperate, so they can have about any range, in fact most tinkrell builds (that arent capital ships) dont have lots of range amps, I think the opposite faction shoud use many types of lasers instead of variable cannons like they have right now.

If there was way to do it, instead of a moddable weapon, what about a moddable defense, such as a shield which can have its range, strength, and if applicable other properties augmented through modules.

maybe like make the weapons cost more energy, have actual accuracy and deal more damage and have a variety of weapon boosters like +Rate +Velocity -Energy Cons. -Spread | something like these.
Add an autofiring Target Laser for pre-aiming ships
Since laser modular cannons dont seem to be boostable it would cool to have a modifiable laser tho x-x
and some gyros (torque) for aiming and huge ships too
name is hard to find tho
add a TRI shape as well :v
how about... "Felguard" as a name? Sounds like a strong and deadly name
Short range variable dark energy lasers that pull you along, faster with more damage.Thrusters have negative thrust so front would pull forward. All parts are very fragile due to dark matter/ matter contact and they take horrible amounts pf damage. long range tink vs suicide shotgun laser ship.
