Guide to making a destination
I've had a go at Mesh Lab, Regard3D, Reality Capture, Irfan view (basically following https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Destinations/Creating_a_Destination ) but i'm having trouble going from a dense point cloud to a.....mesh. I think.

I did manage to get a really terrible version of a room in my house into the HTC Vive, so im kind of hopeful that this is possible, but im getting slightly overwhelmed. At least it shows my camera is good enough.

I've also been poking my pictures into Reality Capture and getting quite a nice 3D image (which, as I didn't pay for it I dont think I can actually take it to the next step). When i put the same images into Regard3D, it just shows a complete mess and very few matches in the pictures.

How much knowledge does it take to do this? Can you recommend any guides? Can you do it with entirely free software?

Thanks

This is one of the better guides to photogrammetry i've found

If anyones feeling a bit lost like me, feel free to add me and we can muddle through together.

Where do I find the library to "teleport" around my scene using my hand controller? I've got my photogrammetry scene to appear in Unity and I'm trying to figure out how to move around my scene. Thank you!
