Request - Remove level requirements on items.
Level requirements on items is the only thing in the game that bothers me. If you spend a lot of your points on luck and find a great item early on you should be able to use it. If you're good enough to get some kills from enemies much higher level than you and get a good item as a result... You deserve to be able to use it!

So, if any of you talented people out there are also annoyed by this I'd love to see a mod to remove the level requirements on items. I simply lack the skills to do it myself otherwise I'd be working on it already.

I gave it a try:

Remove all level requirements on item drops and crafts if that particular item is also craftable. It doesn't change craft requirements anyway.

Keep in mind that adding a mod will disable achievements
Also backup your saves or only use the mod on a new world since it might affect previously obtained items (it removed most items I had in storage, I think all that could be crafted since it kept boss loots)

Damn, dude! Way to be prompt about that. I thought posting would be a long shot but I really appreciate you doing that! Going to test it out now.

Again be careful, it removed items from my storage and I can't disable it on my world now (like some other mods, so it's not my fault :p)

Works perfectly! I definitely wouldn't hold you acoutnable for any issues, but I totally get that it's necessary to warn people (even repeatedly). Thanks again!

Alright :) Let me know if I forgot an item somewhere

Hey so I finally am getting to really play some Crea and first thing I noticed is arrows don't seem effected by the mod. Not sure if this is intentional or not, figured I'd mention it. The cleaver isn't effected either but being only lvl 3 it doesn't really make much of a difference there.

Isn't the cleaver only a craft? I didn't touch those, just drops (and indirectly craft)
I may have missed some arrows though, I was only sure about Squirell Arrows and Stone Arrows. If you can leave the missing items either here or on the mod page I'll update it whenever they fix mods (can't update/publish)

Ah yeah that's fine. I wasn't sure what is actually excluded from the drop tables and is craft only.

So my research table is showing a bunch of stuff that can be researched but when I click them nothing happens. Not sure if that's mod related or not, is this something you encoutnered?

Hm no, I made a new character a few patches ago and it worked fine. What do you mean by nothing happens? No progress bar saying the research is progressing?

Well sometimes it doesn't even consume the item or anything. Other times it consumes the item, gives scrap, but just doesn't progress the research.

The circumstances seems to be that if there is something that can legitimately be researched it does let me do it, however various materials never seem to leave the research table choices resulting in the situations I described

I was just looking through things and it would seem I have some other issues too. A lot of my crafting recipes are gone that I learned. Going to start a fresh character and then a fresh world to see if that makes any difference

Recipes already learned might requires to be learned again if the items changed via mods (so any items that exist as drops+craft will have to be learned again), that's just how the game is (which is annoying, lots of clicks with that mod to learn everything again).

I'll check the rest, no one else using it left feedback so far.

K on a new world with a new character I am still encountering the issue. It's less apparent at first but as I continnue to research things stuff starts getting "stuck" in the research column. Material bars not progressing and what not.

I just finished having my new character research everything to get his way up to the items that I could no longer craft and even though it said he "learned" the item, I still don't have them in the crafting menu. For example I just learned "Agmore Chestplate" but cannot craft it.

Let me know if you encoutner similar on your end.

*Update* This morning I removed the mod and started a new world. The research problem persists but the crafting problem resolved.

My hypothesis is that it wants me to relearn all the recipes, as you said, but for some reason when I attempt to research the item it's failing to register. Now that I'm in an unmodded world I have the unmodded items back on the craft tables, but my character still retains knowledge of the "new" content he could research (but still can't).

Resolved! Alright so I took the mod files you provided and overwrote the core files with them and then removed the mod folder and BAM that did the trick, everything working properly. Don't know if that's how it's supposed to work but it's working and I'm thirlled
Ponxha 23 Jun, 2016 @ 1:41pm
That's how I "modded" before creating proper mods, the game doesn't seem to like duplicate files between core and mods and it was just simpler and still disabled achievements anyway.
