Whats with these skins?

Why do most user created skins look like plastic toys you would find at Wal-Mart or something straight up outta TRON?

Personally speaking, i think TRON style guns (with blue and red LED strips) would be pretty awesome.

I suppose it's just teh style of the creators, to make stuff liek that

If I want realistic looking weapons then I'll just use the weapon without a skin equipped. With that said, there's a few guys filling the realistic skin niche already

VERY unlikely, being a disney license and all. i certainly don't see that happening anytime soon. but it would be cool.
