A similar error happened to me yesterday as I was playing. It turns out, the developers issued a fix for Levitation recently, and any saved game we had created before the fix was released is now corrupt. They say we have to start over again on whichever map we were on, but if we do that, our weapon upgrades and resin will be lost.

They also said there is another fix coming at some point, and when that happens, the save game corruption may occur again. So I am going to wait a month or two before playing it again. I'm hoping by then that the fixes will all be done.

unsubscribe your mods, then resubscribe. they download with the fixes. you can reload a save prior to where you have the error. note that anything prior you did or collected in that error state wont be brought back online but from the metro, there isnt all that much to worry about. worked perfectly for me.
