From another thread: The mod was just updated, any old save files will be corrupted. Please restart on a new save file. You don't have to start a new game, just start a new save on the level you were on. When you do this you will NOT have all the stuff you personally collected. You'll start from the level you select with the required gear. If you're not happy with that you can start a new game completely.

yep! that worked! ☝🏻 .. After resubscribing to the mods, and starting in a spot prior to that part of play being 'error-ed', I was able to continue on. super thankful for the creator fixing these. how do I give them 'tributes' ? i wanna show my gratitude in some way
