How to publish a route ?
I have build a route for TS, but the difficulty is to publish it.
It says its missing file description.en & impage.png
Can someone explain me in clear language what are the steps to follow one by one ?

Have a look at the TS 2016 User Guide, Page 76, that might help.

Can be found at, C/Progfiles86, Steam, Steamapps, Common, Railworks, Manuals, EN (english) or your language.

Quite simply, you need a folder that has that info in it. In the route's folder, you need to make a folder called 'RouteInformation' (all one word) In there should be a picture to display in the route list in game (thats the 'image.png' you were asked for) this must be 256x128 in size and be in the png format with the name 'image' so that it appears as 'image.png'. You will also need at least one language folder called En where the routes description is kept. If you are unsure, just look in the folders of existing routes you have and if the route is based on a route you already have, just copy it's folder over and replace the image picture with one of your choosing.

Thank you both. But pictures from a screenshot do not come as .png files. So I need to change the file name and the size, ...if I understand well. I will try that coppy suggestion, simonmd. The picture should not be from the line (as it is a new line) ? As long as it can be published...

Yes, you are required to resize and change the format yourself. Windows Office Picture manager is one of the easiest programs to use and is usualy to be found on most windows systems. The picture can be anything, a logo designed by yourself, a simple pic of the route or a combination of both. Basically, it is to help identify the route when shown in the list of routes in game.

Thanks simonmd and Thunderbird. I hope to be able to publish it in a few days (as work in progress maybe) or a week as final. (A route is never finished ...)
Indeed: pictures from a screenshot come not as .png files. Neither as 256 by 128 in size.

It's not up to you when it gets 'final' status, thats down to how many people like it.

Surely. I understand. I had to check. Actually I thought 'Work in progress' was like a preview. And 'final' as "this is it, I won't change it anymore". But OK.
I will try to publish it later on today or by Saturday.
Thanks anyway for the help and comments all the time.

The only way a route goes final is after it has received a certain number of positive votes, I think its 30 but not 100% on that one. Then, you can make your next update as 'final' and the route is then set in stone, with no further updates possible. However, if you dont get the votes, you cant make it final. I published a route myself recently so speak from experience.

I was able to resize the pricture and make it .png ; that point is done. But it still asks the "en" folder with description in .html . I have created the 'en' folder (no capital I guess because it mentioned 'missing .... ion\en\Description.html' . I typed a file both in Works and Words and saved it as "Description" but aparently it is not .html . In 'save as...' I can choose a lot but not .html......

Doesnt matter, just copy one from another route you already have, no one looks at that anyway.

Thank you simonmd ! I believe it's published by now...

I have made some corrections on it after the route was published. Do I need to publish it again or does those changes automatically apply to the published version ?

Yes, just do what you did before and it will update the one on the workshop.

So I am trying to publish a route with a few assets from railworks america and it keeps saying: route uses unrecognized blueprint set, how can I fix this.

The workshop will only accept routes with assets that are available on Steam.
