If anybody else still has trouble to get the "create mod path" thingy to run, here's a simple workaround (don't know if it'll work if you add or remove mods, so do this on your own risk) :

You have to copy the modlist.json file from your Mechwarrior 5 mod path (Steam\SteamApps\common\MechWarrior 5 Mercenaries\MW5Mercs\Mods) to the path where Steam is saving the mods (D:\Steam\SteamApps\workshop\content\784080).

Then you use the option (Create Mod Cache) of the savegame editor and go to this path : D:\Steam\SteamApps\workshop\content\784080 (where you have a copy of the modlist.json)

Also important, you have to use the editor from Nexus (1.6.1) not from GitHub (1.6.2)!!!
The newer version won't show the modded equipment and since the last update was christmas '21, i don't think this'll get fixed any time soon.

To those ppl who hate "cheaters" and want to desperately post some sermon here, feel free to do so, i don't give a (put in swear word here).
