Abilities - Is it possible to make an ability where the soldier/vehicle increases its rate of fire for a period of time?

The title says it all really.

Although my impression is that you cannot make abilities like this for CTAs.

I am not sure, but id guess not.

The game actually is supposed to increase RoF as your units rank up their veterancy, but it definitely doesnt work.

I kinda wish there was abilities, then id turn this game into the game Caliber in an RTS version.
