2. Yea no. Warhammer ships thou big are still not fit for HW nor the gameplay that HW uses. Even SW failed to be proper (thats also the main reason they did cancel the remastered mod version)
Also yes, SW mods actualy are protected since like 25 years ago, Warhammer thou.. not realy. Games workshop is more influential than disney will ever be and would errase wannabe no profit for them games. And trust me i know how fast mods and rip offs can be taken down, right Pokemon? XD
Bear in mind the good starfleets would have the Prime Directive to obey while the evil starfleets work in conspiracy when fighting over a world that is more primitive than their fleets. Just watch out for the EMP spell or you will be forced to use primitive or magical equipment.
