Future of this Game
Looking at whether I should buy this game.
Will there be warfare implemented?
What does the development roadmap look like?

my friend, you've come to the right place! this game is run by a solo-dev. this means that progress is somewhat slow, but every update will be delivered with extreme care. he admits that there is still years and years of progress/game updates to be made.

with that said, this is the official roadmap: https://www.playsapiens.com/2022/07/28/launch.html

many of the features in phase one have already been implemented & improve the game a ton! to your point, in phase two, there will be conflict between tribes, melee weapons, multiplayer etc. the developer has taken a holiday break, and will hopefully be back soon! this next year will focus a ton on in-game content, as much of the back-end development is time-consuming & goes unnoticed!

I believe if you're able to play the game with an open mind, then you can have quite an enjoyable experience even in this early stage! While the game borrows aspects from many others, it's quite a unique experience.

It needs to be really clear that its solo development, this game was a money grab, couple bucks at best at this point. I refuse to support solo dev in the future, I am not okay with waiting to play a finished game five years from now when I paid last year. These guys obviously take 6+ week vacations and hold no deadlines or schedule and still not sure thing it will ever be finished. he prioritised releasing an unfinished game on a different platform. money grab/robbery makes me sick

True.
I believe 61 Devlogs so far to date is sufficiently clear, don't you?

Untrue.
It is not a "money grab". No developer devotes themselves to the development of any game for more than 9 years (7 so far and committed to at least 2 more) in order to grab " a couple of bucks at best."

If you aren't prepared to wait for development of this game to complete, then you should have paid more attention to the Early Access warning that is clearly presented on the Store Page.

Early Access Game
Get instant access and start playing; get involved with this game as it develops.
Note: This Early Access game is not complete and may or may not change further. If you are not excited to play this game in its current state, then you should wait to see if the game progresses further in development
You chose to ignore that and that's on you.

"These guys" This guy... this solo developer and father of 4 young kids, took 6 weeks off from their work to enjoy a 6 week summer break with their family. That seems unreasonable to you, but it shouldn't sound unreasonable to anyone. This says more about you than it does about the developer.

There are no deadlines but there is a schedule. See the Roadmap: https://i.redd.it/d49i6eom6sd91.jpg

You knew that at purchase. Reminder...

Nonsense, that is completely untrue.
Prove it or quit making things up.

By all means vent, but be honest about it and do it once. You do not have to continually make repeated posts about it and you certainly do not have to lie about it.

Huh? - It's on the store page, in no uncertain terms -

ABOUT THIS GAME

Sapiens is the debut PC title from solo developer Dave Frampton, known for Blockheads, Chopper, and Chopper 2.

How much clearer can he possibly make it? Flashing neon orange text, perhaps?

Sheeesh.
