Mod Request - Condensate superfreighter

The short version, I would like a large-size ship that has condensate storage. Just take a Donia and change its storage type to condensate storage.

As for why; I have the jumpdrive mod, so this would let me transport condensate between Leap of Faith and the rest of the galaxy automatically.

Since this is such a simple change, consider decompiling the Tides of Avarice catalogues and making a copy of the donia yourself. The tools you need are available on every Steam account, hidden under the Tools section: simply install X Tools and run the Catalogue tool.

I've tried that before. I can never get it to work right. It either doesn't load the game or causes no change whatsoever when I try to mod ships using that method.

Its also agonizing to test since it takes so long for a save to load...

The easiest way would be to change the Donia's storage into the Astrid's storage. If you have access to the XMLs, you can change the Donia's macro XML to use storage_pir_s_condensate_01_macro
