modding support customization issue?
Heya, I'm making some mods for a circle of friends. I've change the colour of a country and fortunately it works, the map colour changes and its beautiful. The issue I have is that once I load a save of an ongoing game, the map colour reverts back to its original colour. I'm not quite sure what other options I have other than starting from the beginning.

The color of the tags is also saved in the save game. So if you want to change it in on-going save, you have to edit the save.

I would like to try the option as you said but im not quite sure how to open/edit the eu4 save files

If the save isn't compressed, you can open it with an editor like notepad++.
If it's compressed you may be able to open it with something like 7zip and edit one of the files inside.

was able to edit the save and the countries color, thank you very much
