Steam auto-updates...most of the time, but sometimes you have to unsub-resub to trigger an update.
There's really not a reason to feel forced to use just one. I find it a bit easier to keep the main mods I use up to date on steam, then go grab stuff on nexus that isn't on workshop.
Do Steam / Nexus download their files to different folders? I.e., if I install a Nexus mod and then later subscribe to the same mod on Steam, will Steam override the Nexus mod or should I delete the Nexus mod folder in the mod directory?
Thank you :)
Thank you !
Hiya, dumbo moment in coming, do the .pak files need to be in individual folders? They weren't showing up for my friend after I sent them despite being in the correct folder.
Mods need their whole folder and contents, not just the .pak.
Yeah we figured it out and I rar'd em across.
Thank you very much for the help though, it is appreciated :)
