Here is another issue I have with this rail bridge. When I run into the bridge with a tank, it disconnects the bridge section and it uncontrollably lifts off into the sky, ala the above screenshot.
Allow units to walk across bridge sides, disable both "detail1" and "detail2" obstacles:

Can't replicate the rail bridge flying into the air, try setting "impregnability" to "full":

Keep rail tracks on bridge, uncheck "align_enabled" under "land_patch":

Hope this helps.
OK, ill give these a wack, but doesnt full make the bridge basically transparent vs bullets? ITs what I see every time I put something to full. Its there, but it offers 0 cover. I did set impregnability to Harmless, which from all the times ive used it, like on my heli base map's hescos, it makes the object completely invincible.
So, infantry can cross over the sides of the bridge, but tanks still cant.
and Align enabled is already unchecked. Only thing it has checked by default is update entities.
Also, after further testing, changing the impregnability settings to full, it makes no difference, the bridge still disconnects and sends my tank and hte bridge portion sailing up into the sky.

I loaded up my map with a rail bridge to see what I did, try setting "constrain" to "none":

Are your train tracks set some kidna way? Even with constrain set to none it still sinks the rails through the bridge.
Np, ive honestly abandoned the rail bridge and taken my map in a different direction in terms of what bridges I use. I am using the concrete_hole bridge, now that with your help, you've solved the issue I was having with it. Many thanks. Now i think I can actually get to building the map, now that those issues are fixed.
