Changing in-game labels and icons
Greetings modders,


for the sake of my personal immersion into this amazing game I wonder if it is possible to change some labels and icons. In particular what I have in mind is to change word "meat" with "milk" and "slaughter house" into "Dairy farm".
And of course with that changing meat icon with milk icon.

If it is possible, can you please let me know how I can do that?

Names might be hard-coded (I've never tried renaming them), but you can try replacing the $NAME #### tag in the vanilla buildings' config files with the tag: $NAME_STR "Whatever name you want".

As for icons, you can replace them in the SovietRepublic\media_soviet\editor folder. Other images and even sound files can be replaced, but they are scattered around the game's folders.

Probably. I would make a copy of the folder with the files you want to alter and just copy and replace it over the game folder after an update (make sure no new tags were added though).
