as i stated before i was trying to add a light i was able to add a tic box to toggle the light and everything else but the only thing i cant seem to figure out is lights.

Hmm, interesting. I think maybe you need to look at how guns are added to weapons, see if you can copy what's in those. I have no idea off the top of my head as I haven't done anything with weapons or attached lights, but I think it should be possible to do so long as it isn't something they've hard-coded into the core game somehow (in which case it wouldn't be a trivial matter).

ive gone though other mods and the games own items to use as examples since in my opinion thats a good way to learn. but even if i copy the part of it that adds the light to the item it just wont seem to work. do i just have to rewrite it from scratch to get it to work?
