Is there any rhyme or reason to HRE member states Attitudes toward the ruling faction? I'm playing as the HRE. The year is ~1320 AD and I've made it through half of the imperial decrees - mostly by dumb luck. Short of greasing up the members with constant (boring) gifts and arranged marriages, is there a better way to get them to back you? Diplomatically, I am mostly a healthy "medium green" with all factions in central Europe (and the periphery); why doesn't that translate to faction attitude?

I'm mostly asking for best practices/advice -- not to comment on the MOD itself. Sure, somethings could be improved IMO, but that's another discussion. The MOD is awesome, and I enjoy the challenge of HRE, but this mechanic feels wonky and I need some help to demystify how it works.

I know Attila and 1212 are old news, but hope somewhere in the TW world there is someone that can help me out.
