Plenty of more grounded mods too, though. Depending on what you're looking for, I can suggest some if you want.
They're not hard to find, but if you want a lot of mods and a wider variety of skins for every class you will need to dig. In that case you will be better serviced using sources beyond Steam.
In my case I don't like using duplicate skins as I want my character's deaths to feel meaningful, so no one can look the same. Having a favorite hero die and not being able to copy him or his move loadout as a limitation is something I find enjoyable.
for any modded game on nexus or workshop you have to comb through mods to find them. but you are definitely right in saying so many nsfw mods makes it harder, but this is a problem either way unless there are sorting systems in place, which at the end of the day is an issue with the darkest dungeon workshop itself rather than the mods.
