Barotrauma 3.0 is a complete Barotrauma overhaul. BT 3.0 will include "building, better resources, deform-able terrain, build-able player ships, transport ships that spawn across the map, base building, oxygen generation, new xml support, lua support, C# support, zombie ships(ships taken over by flora)", currently pending idea's that should be implemented after the first release to the workshop page include, "Anomalies(likley going along with ruins), "improved/dynamic ship destruction"(likely after patch 1.0), "Larger maps"(very likely), "easier xml modding"(will be added yes Its possible to make it easier), we will also have the unlikely addition of raids meaning if this is added Barotrauma 3.0 could look more like the popular game space engineers when it comes to raiding mechanics. you're probably thinking how would this even be possible with xml. blankly xml alone would not work for this mod, but since Barotrauma is open source; the developers have full access to the code. why are we reaching out, we are reaching out because we need more people to work on this; currently we have two artist and one Molotov LLC a reverse engineering company put to the task of actually reversing the game and coding the new mechanics.

Q&A:
1.Why is an LLC company involved, well the company manager found Barotrauma to be a very high potential game, or in business terms the company profits from putting it name out in the market, and so does Barotrauma. if this mod is successful not only will Molotov LLC have a good reputation in the developer community, Barotrauma will also likely be far more replay-able experience for it's users and for new players who will recommend the game&mod to their friend

2.Will the source for BT 3.0 be released, awnser is yes once the code has become more developed, current planned date for release 5/24/2023.
