I subscribed to a bunch of maps on the Workshop but they didn't appear in the map list when I went to play the game. After many reboots and other methods I found online that didn't work, I discovered something simple. Here are the steps.
1. Subscribe to the maps you want (max 50 at a time).
2. Launch game.
3. Go to Multiplayer.
4. Select Internet Games tab.
5. Select Back.
6. In the top right you should see it spam download all the maps you subscribed to.
7. If you want more than 50 maps. Unsubscribe from the previous 50 first.
8. Repeat steps as needed.
Unsubscribed Maps stay in your game files so you will not lose any, your list will keep getting bigger.
This is also a lot easier to do if you use Collections instead of individually subbing/unsubbing. Because Collections gives you Subscribe To All (Overwrite) and Unsubscribe From All options.
