1. They are hungry
If you do not respond to this notification, then...
2. They are starving
If you do not respond to this notification then you will eventually see that they either died due to starvation or left the tribe.
Currently, the burden is on you to respond to the notifications in order to correct the situation...
Namely, use a Move order on them to a nearby food source.
This is usually the case when a sap is injured or sick and unable to move unless forced to by you. They will eat their fill and then return to their sick bed.
Sometimes, it can also be due to a Sap being stuck and is unable to reach any food. The notification alerts you to this and so if you do not act to extricate them from whatever it is that is keeping them captive, then their fate is still your responsibility ;)

What mods would you like modders to create for you?
This is a Workshop discussion, or at least it should be.
you can already choose what dirt to use when using the filling option. not that far from doing same thing for seeds based on a seed category (fruit, tree or herb).
Also, maybe something like a Scout role. These people just wander around and mark areas that are worth checking out. Might help with the search for certain food / medicine items.
Shellfish (can be dug up in river sand. Gives 1 meat.)
Crabs (can be hunted like chicken near rivers or seas. Gives 2 meat)
Nut Trees (lasts longer than fruit, able to be ground into flour)
Travois (built of logs & fur/skins, able to be pulled by strong child or adult. Can move an (injured) adult (or equal weight in "stuff") about half as far as a normally burdened Sapien can go before needing to rest.
Ideas I've got. Programming skills I've not! LoL
Yep we got that mod
