Any useful track building advice?

Long story short; I'm trying to make a beatable/ easier to play track BUT hard to pull off shortcuts with having multiple short cuts in the starting area.

Have you tried watching Trackmania track design tutorials? Most of it is applicable in Zeepkist since both games have similar level editors (from what I've seen on YT), with the exception of Zeepkist seemingly having no accelerate button. Physics also seem to be a close match between Trackmania and Zeepkist.

I have designed levels for Trackmania; I just don't know if they're any good or not.
