They will have it. Or so I think.. They did say it would be easier to get mods/assets in CS2 so I'm sure they have some thing setup.

Sad to confirm they have absolutely no plans for having Workshop for CS2.

Well that stinks. So that means the "easier access to mods" they mention be their own Mod manager then. That could be ok.. Though many will likely complain as seems majority prefer steam workshop. Though steam does mess up mod subscriptions alot when comes to updating mods and such.

Kind of don't see the point for CS2, personally. I got everything here at CS1. Why spend another load of money on another CS game. Only to completely mod it up to be just like the first one. If there going to be 2 CS game. Have there be a Mod version (CS1) and a non-mod one (CS2). CS is suppose to be a game. Although, I too actually hate the true version of CS1 and will not spend anything on CS2.

CS2 has lot of new features and better graphics. And lot of games get part 2s. COD, MOW, GTA, ARK, KSP, and so many other games from all kinds of genes.

Well, it's just another bad decision by the developer, who frankly is totally clueless. Just look at how bad the DLC for this game has been. Most of the packs are totally worthless. The real meat is right here, in the workshop. They're just cutting their own hamstrings with this decision. The base game is and will be ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ because the developer is bad.
