I feel like you should ask that on Reddit, steam doesnt seem very active.

You shouldn't need to do any programming for adding a weapon, just modelling, animation, and setting the values for damage, how the bots use it, etc, but this is done through a UI in unity, not through your own programming.

If you want to add more complicated weapon features you can use Ravenscript (coding) but to just add a normal weapon there is no need.

Also, the best place to find help would likely be the discord, as there are a lot of people willing to have conversations with new modders.
