Show movement route
So, if you click the "move to" button, and who does that, it shows the route your unit is going to take. I just lost another few turns of movement because if you use the right-click to move it doesn't show that route, and the unit decided to move all around a mountain rage, and now I have to move it back to use the right shorter route.

I figured, there's got to be a mod that shows the movement route just hovering over the destination if you have a unit selected; but I've tried several search options but all of them just show a whole bunch of mods related to trade routes.

Anyone know if this mod exists, and have a link to it?

The problem is that if there is another unit in the path, at a point where your unit will need to end one turn's movement, even if it is at a future point - they will automatically repath to a route that doesn't appear to be blocked. I've had it happen even when the obstacle is another one of my own units who is ALSO MOVING. But they are in the way on that same path. So the second one will path halfway around the map sometimes to find another route.

I don't care about that, I just want to unit to go in the direction I want it to go when I first tell it to go somewhere, not go the other direction; it's much quicker to wait a turn than take a round 10 turns longer than the shortest route.

WayPoint Mode might do what you're looking for (among other features).
