I do own the firepowe DLC. Doing what you suggest is a logical step but with all the mods I'm runnning would take me a few hours at least counting all restarts. I think it'ts the Too many voives mod.

That doesn't matter as it had the same problem when they changed the tier of the Chaos Hero. TMV had conflict with it that took months to be resolved.

Do you have any mods that alter the Chaos Space Marines faction ?

It will be time well spent and I think you are exaggerating.
Have you tried verifying the files in Steam or reinstalled the game?
Reinstalling the game won't affect your mods if you have installed them correctly.

It takes 5 minutes to start and exit the game, I have around 20 mods active If I remember correctly, lower side of 20. so around 90 minutes.

This was a completely different issue.
Again: No, TMV is not in cause here.

OK, Well if the verification or reinstall doesn't work and you are unwilling to disable the mods to see if the unit appear I've run out of ideas.

The game takes for ever to load on a HDD, unfortunately a SSD is required.
5 minutes is much quicker than it took for my computer to load the game on my HDD. It took ~12 sometime 15 minutes for the game to start. (it was a low RPM HDD as well)

Good that you found the cause! But just out of curiosity, was it the removal of a mod or adding a mod which solved this?

Removing it. I had a day of and was frustrated enough to go through my mod list. Luckily it was the first I removed.
