Mod Proposal: Enhanced Market System
I've got an exciting concept for an Atlas mod that builds upon the existing in-game market system, making it even more dynamic and engaging. This mod is all about enhancing the trading experience, promoting player interaction, and adding depth to the world of commerce within Atlas.

The Market Expansion:
The core idea is to introduce an expansion to the market-building feature, allowing players to create "Market Hubs." These hubs serve as central trading points for various commodities and resources, both for personal use and for engaging with the wider Atlas community. When a player builds a Market Hub, it not only unlocks advanced trading options but also enables market visibility to other players.

Commodity Exchange and Predictions:
Within these Market Hubs, players can delve into the exciting world of commodity trading. By adding an array of calculated imaginary market commodities, the mod predicts server trends to offer players insights into potentially profitable trades. This mod adds depth and complexity to the game's economy, making it even more immersive.

Trading Map and Distance Factor:
One of the key features is a trading map that can be accessed from the Market Hub. The map not only displays your location but also highlights other Market Hubs on the server. Players can explore trade routes and identify the best places to buy and sell commodities. However, there's a catch – prices are affected by distance. The farther you transport goods from one hub to another, the higher the potential profits. This encourages players to consider their voyage carefully, balancing risk and reward.

Commodity for Commodity Exchange:
To promote player-to-player trading, we're introducing a "Commodity for Commodity" exchange option. This allows players to directly swap resources with one another, bypassing gold payments and potentially earning even greater profits. It's a fantastic way to foster collaboration and trade alliances within the Atlas community.

Market Depreciation and Tariff Tax:
But remember, running a successful market isn't without its challenges. As players frequently use one hub for their trades, the market's value gradually depreciates. This mechanic prevents markets from becoming too stagnant and encourages competition. Moreover, the owner of a Market Hub receives a tariff tax for every commodity arriving at their market, providing a source of in-game income for those willing to manage their markets actively.

Conclusion:
This mod aims to elevate the trading aspect of Atlas, offering a rich and immersive experience for both solo players and those who thrive on trade networks. It promotes player interaction, strategy, and a sense of entrepreneurship in the vast world of Atlas. We believe this mod will enhance the overall gameplay experience, making Atlas an even more dynamic and engaging world.
