look at them and type ent_fire !picker enablefollow into console commands. if you try to talk to them and they don't say anything type ent_fire !picker gagdisable, then type ent_fire !picker enablefollow.

if you want to teleport them to you type ent_teleport npc_human_scientist.

You can give npcs names too,
ent_setname *whatever you want to call em
so it'd be like ent_teleport *name

same works with security guards, or any npcs.
