Trying to create repeatable Rites mod, help needed
Trying to create repeatable Rites mod, help needed =(
So in the process of creating this repeatable rites mod, I've created my own modification of the CORE_Empire_Development.General_Repeatable_Rite-Repeat_Settings property

I've then created copies of the rites (striaght from the " CORE_Empire_Development" rpk file and added the repeat settings, mapping them to my new repeat rule I created)

When I save, Build, and Add the new mod to my playlist, I noticed that the rites are still not repeatable, even though I've added repeatable rules to them. I followed the same example as the city + repeatable rite but so far, no luck.

Does anyone have insight into this or why the repeatable rites are not being made repeatable?

Thank you! And sorry for not posting this in Workshop Discussions!

Simple question but did you actually add your new skills to the Tree? Or are you just adding Repeat Settings to existing Traits?

Is the Playlist in which the mod is active chosen?

Hello, I'm just adding repeat settings to existing trees

Here's an image of what I'm doing

I've also made sure that the .rpk file is included in the Package Manager via the Content -> Resource Packs menu

Okay, so since you made a new one in your own RPK you also need to link it in the progression tree itself. Those nodes in the tree are still linked to the original base game skills.

Woah for real? I thought all I had to do was just add the repeat settings to each rite. I don't have any broken links and I'm referencing the "Core_Empire_Development.rpk"

Do you know in what .rpk file represents the progression tree?

I looked but I don't know what rpk you might be talking about

Except you're not. You made copies of the original resources and put them in your own Resource Pack. They're not the same and currently just not being used.

You'll need to link your new Skills in the EmpireProgression_Tree.rpk.

Okay I found the EmpireProgression_Tree.rpk and found the skill tree, the node within the skill tree, and the empire progression global settings that maps to the skill tree.

Please let me know if what I did was correct (sorry for being new to the AOW4 Modding scene)
1. I made a new category within my rpk mod

2. I copied the "Empire Progression Global Settings" and the "Skill Tree" content itemsi into my rpk

3. I made sure that in my rpk, the "Empire Progression Global Settings" is mapping to the skill tree I copied within my rpk

4. From the skill tree within my rpk, I selected the node I wanted to modify, in this case, the general expanded governance +1 node, and made sure the "skill link" property was linked to the skill I created (the one with the new repeat settings)

Saving, building, and making sure the mod is in my playlist, after loading the game I'm still not seeing the results reflected. Wonder what else I could be doing wrong.
