[WOLFPACK] Space Wolves faction mod
I have been in the process of creating a Space Wolves faction for the game. It's not ready for apha testing as I am just getting all of the basic framework in place.

Here's the framework I'm offering so far:

- Based off of the Space Marines
- Focus on infantry fighting (melee, no tanks)
- No orbital deployment except for special cases
- No orbital assets of any type (bombardment, scan)

Unit list:
======
Fenrisian Wolf - similar to the Kroot Hound, a scout unit
Blood Claw - similar to the Assault Space Marine but without the jump pack ability
Skyclaw - similar to the Assault Space Marine
Swiftclaw - simiar to the Scout Biker but no "Scout" ability
Grey Hunter - similar to the Tactical Space Marine but tougher
Long Fang - similar to the Devastator Space Marine
Iron Priest - similar to the Techpriest, services the Venerable Dreadnoughts
Venerable Dreadnought - similar to the Dreadnought
Rune Priest - similar to the Librarian
Wolf Priest - a combination of the Apothecary and Chaplain
Wolf Guard - similar to the Terminator
Wolf Lord - similar to the Captain but only one
Stormfang Gunship - similar to the Stormtalon Gunship
Stormwolf - similar to the Stormraven Gunship

This list is subject to change. I felt the need to include aerial assets for balance.

City deployment will be like the Astra Militarium, but limited to only one city like the Space Marines. The Fortress of Redemption will be replaced with a training camp to recruit Blood Claws.

Gameplay will see that the Space Wolves will have an initial advantage over the other standard factions in combat ability, but will have to work harder to keep up. The plan is to have the Blood Claws evolve into the higher unit types at the training camps based on experience. We'll see if I can get that to work.

I'm totally open to suggestions, ideas and changes. More later.

Depends on the Company. I forget the guys name, but I know one company deploys almost exclusively through drop pods. But this isn't the case for all of the companies.

Quite strange... Space Wolves are well known for their use of lightning strike melee attacks via drop-pod or teleportarium.... banning them from using drop-pods is about as counter space-wolf as you could get!

Also no tanks? Not even Leman Russ? Since they were literally named after their primarch and are one of the only space marine legions to actually use Leman Russ tanks!!!

Why only 1 wolf lord? A wolf lord is a captain, there is literally no difference, its just a different name for the same thing. They should be practically identical. A wolf lord isn't more unique than a captain. Are you thinking great wolf which is the equivalent of chapter master in other chapters.

Wolf Guards shouldn't be terminators only, wolf guards are super elites but they don't always wear terminator armour and not all space wolf terminators are wolf guards. Space wolves should have normal terminators and basically all rank 9/10 units are wolf-guards really.

Venerable Dreadnought is a bit strange... why replace the normal dreadnought with this? This is literally an elite dreadnought.
