I don't know how the deck handles keybinds but brick rigs also allows binding to controller keys, check in the keymapping, you may have to set up your own keybinds to controller keys just to get anything done.

I am pretty sure you can connect a wireless mouse an keyboard (if you have one) to the steam deck.

Kind of defeats the purpose of having a deck.
