Mod or Console command to change debris rooms into Exposed Coils
Would love to either have a mod that changes, on new game, all debris rooms into "Exposed Coils"

I tried to search for a console command to do this little "trick" but no such luck.

As far as I know there's nothing that does that

I found this buggy, out dated mod: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=676982856
It does not work any more, and the author has moved on. I tried to look in the source files (they are supplied with the mod, yay) but i have no scripting skills to speak of. so i'm let to just wish and pine for something i apparently cannot have :/

So it KIND OF exists, but it was under a name that made NO god dang sense.
Why not call it something more obvious? Argh.. Last update was 8 some years ago at best...
Safe bet, this mod is abandoned by the creator, and they have had what fun they could out of xcom2.
I just started :/

Why would you want to do that? You only get a little elerium (and maybe some alloys) out of excavating an exposed coil, and you only need one to build power on if that's what you're after. Or maybe you want to be able to build all rooms with no power requirements? But you'll lose out on a lot of resources - digging out the debris and the machinery gives you a lot of your early game supplies. Which is probably why nobody has made this mod.

That is actually a very very good point, but with this mod i linked, i can at least CONTROL where 1-2 of the coils will be, for instance, on 2nd row (near the top) for a quick and early energy boost with little to no need to worry about energy again.
But i realized, i can just edit the "XComStrategyTuning.ini" with the Community Highlander mod in the My Games folder where it puts save games and the like.
Via that, i can just set amount of power a relay gives and totally throw out my initial idea.

Editing PowerRelay in "XComStrategyTuning.ini" in "My Games" for WOTC, thanks to Community Highlander mod & fix, makes this idea pointless. -- I'll consider this the "answer" to my request and post.
