Using RMG in custom mission?
I've looked around and can't find a tutorial on the RMG tools in the mission editor. I've been thinking of using them so that I could set up a series of "projects" in a neighborhood, but with randomized interiors due to the occupants having to build the insides of their lot, like we had done in Kabul.

Is that sort of thing possible with the RMG tools or am I completely misunderstanding them?

Hi,
you probably need to wait a Devs' reply or an expert modder.

As far as I know, no random generated user maps until now.

It's possible, but kinda hard to grasp the editor concepts for it without proper tutorials. There haven't been any user-made maps that make use of it, so the only way to learn currently is to set the game to devMode and load the 'source' maps for the RMG, they show up in the SingleMissions lists afterwards (devMode is enabled by clicking 10 times on the 'OPTIONS' text in the options menu).

We plan to eventually make some tutorials of our own, though the RMG is still under heavy development so that wasn't a priority since things change all the time.
