Custom objects?
I am a big fan of surfing in source games. And i'd love to make a surf map. But where can i find the objects to make the surf map? For example the quarter pipes and the diagonal slides?
EDIT: I've noticed that you don't even start with the paint gun. Any help please?

Are you using hammer or the in-game editor? If you're using hammer, decompile the map with the stunt tracks and create some prefabs from there (if it's already decompiled just open the VMF of the map instead of decompiling it).

If you're using the in-game editor there's no chance, that's a lot more limited than using hammer {like the devs would've} so unless they add set prefabs for that I don't think you'll be able to use them there.

Thanks, that's all I needed to know. It'll still be a bit more work of making surf maps in hammer having to compile time after time testing.

Can I ask if you've managed to set up hammer for Aperture Tag yet at all? I'm having issues

Seems like they only give the compiled version, and some prefabs for items. You'll have to use a decompiler to get the maps. Then save it in the maps direction and use the console to test them.
