Pff, I think someone would need to rip actual models from data pack, make a copy of it for tank top and shorts and then make a mod.
I think Bob needs to add actual layers for clothing...
1) Create 11 pairs of T-Shirts with each having the average base tone color.
2) When equipped :
.... a) Get that tone color value from the character.
.... b) Select the correct texture from the texture file.
Think of it like the game "7 Days to Die", that's Unity and we can "paint" blocks to make a concrete block look like a wood block. Same idea .... I think. (or is that just layers)
Actually, maybe we can ask Bob to upload a mod with these assets exposed?
Will the T-Shirt or Shorts have insulation?
If it doesn't, then lets say your're wearing combat boots with 2 insulation, it gets wet and immediately you seek warmth. When an item has insulation then it can get wet, the less insulation the faster it gets damp and you seek cover or a fire.
I don't think the current climate offers light clothing unless the people are acclimated to the climate, then sure .... bring on any clothing.
I just tested my toon wearing no clothes except a military cap (no insulation). I stood him in a river with the outside air temp of 31 degree C ..... body temp never dropped.
I tested the same for pouring rain ... nothing damp = no body temp drop (at 31 degrees)
