[Mod Request] Some Ideas for adding a new Tome
Hi evereone! I m not a modder, just a player with deep experience of playing all Age of Wonders games. First of all - I do really appreciate the great work you all do guys, both developers and modders. And I have some ideas which I`d like to share in hope that maybe someone will realise them.


I would propose to add new T3 Materium tome book which I call "Tome of travelling", but maybe you ll find better name.

1. I remember nice flying ship unit from AOW2 and I bet I met it in one of the mods from AOW3. So it would be glad to see something like this in AOW4 as well. In my opinion it should has same transport mechanics as in AOW2, making all of the units in the same stack flying with 40 or maybe 48 movement points. Also, it would be great to make it possible to cross lava, since there is no any way to cross lava regions so far. Probably it makes sense to add combat version of it as otner unit, having canon or at least magelock and some other interesting abilities, probably "throw net".
2. Playing as undergroung fraction, it`s so annoying when just several tiles of bedrock don`t allow you to make a shortcut between two cities for example. So it would be great to add a way to remove them. I propose to add tunnel boring machine which would be able to remove the bedrock tiles with slow speed (probably 1-2 per turn) and paying some gold, in order not to be overpowered. As for using it on the on-ground surface, probably you can add "alternate mountains into rocky provice" ability which can take like 3-5 turns for a province and some gold (as alternative to the same spell in Earth Tome)
3. As for spells, I would add something like "Carried by trasport golems" which would give to the target army some more movement points for several turns, +12 probably to speed it up a bit and maybe "swift" ability to ignore landscape penalties. Because it can be sooo boring to travel from one point of map to other in the midgame (without teleporters), especially playing infantry and through penalting terrain.
4. As for unique province improvement building, I would add something like "travellers guild" (name can be different) which would decrease movement cost in this city domain. Or as alternative "Cartographer" which once per turn/ several turns would open for you location of some interesting object nearby (Free City/ Ancient Wonder/ etc) in some radius, just like cartographer pickups do.
5. As for enchantment, I understand that it can be hard to do, but adding something like mechanical stilts which would speed up infantry in combat a bit and made it possible to jump once per battle or with huge cooldown, would be nice and funny
