Turn based varient.
This game really needs a turn based variant for us slow thinking people who are more about the planning.

If you're playing in single player mode (Campaign or Skirmish) you can change the game speed up or down by holding ctrl and then numpad + or -. F8 will show the current gamespeed in the upper left hand corner.
