There are many ways to make your custom character, some free some paid.
Some free ones:
Probably the simplest method, if you want a stylized humanoid, is using the Persona Character creator in the Animaze app. Customizing one of the existing stock avatars with various colors, or retexturing can work too.
Another way is to use an avatar creator service such as Ready Player Me to create an avatar that you then import into Animaze. https://www.animaze.us/manual/readyplayerme
There are other avatar creators you can work with.
Vroid Studio can also help you build a VRM file that you can import into Animaze if you are into a more anime aesthetic.
If you want to explore paid options, There are also independent artists out there who can build custom avatars for you, either 3D or 2D (though generally custom work requires a commission fee).
