Need a mod that unlocks face props when wearing a helmet

Having trouble designing a chartacter.

I see absolutely no reason why These eyes

should not be able to work with this helmet

I want the helmet AND ALSO the glowing eyes. But for whatever reason, the helmet locks out the eyes and won't let me use them.

I've already tried the "Free the hood" mod, and that hasn't helped. is there anything that just prevents helmets from locking out face props and facial hair?

The problem is that this needs to be done either by ripping out the guts of the entire soldier customization system, like what Unrestricted Customization Redux does, or surgically by replacing the archetype of specific cosmetic body parts, like Free The Hood does for the hood.
