I suggest getting a few nice looking workshop builds downloaded. Set aside the ones you like in terms of handling and power. Take them apart and reverse engineer them. I found one build that had really nice progressive steering. Took it apart to learn how it worked, then built my own system. Found another with a nice transmission setup. Started combining things until I had a truck I liked and found fun and somewhat realistic to drive (relatively).
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2887039219 I'm throwing in the towel with this game. Here's my build. Feel free to tear it apart and see how I did things.
maybe I can help you?
