Has anyone ever made a mod that allows a full stack of a resource to be crafted into a single item that can be later deconstructed back to a complete stack?

For example a max modded stack is 32, so I would use a stack of Iron to make an "iron bar" or some similar form that is a single item and when deconstructed turns back into 32 iron.

I play with a larger stack mod to help keep on top of the sorting solo but I remember reading in the past that containers have a max capacity that if exceeded can cause errors and this seems like a nice solution for managing large hauls as well as giving the game less to keep track of.
