Does anyone know a mod that makes the Alexander campaign faster paced?
The classical age simply plays too slowly and clunky to be fun, a mod that makes fighting faster by buffing all damage would be nice, or a mod that makes the troops move better so it doesn't take 2 minutes to get your army to stand in a line.

I lost the 3rd battle in Alexander campaign and 3/4 of the time in that mission was spent being angry at units cause they just wouldn't move properly, and because battles took forever since the units damage is so extremely low compared to their max hp, the classical age seriously plays worse than SC1.

I've been looking all over the place for anything related to that campaign, not much luck, what I'm trying to do is find a mod that makes supply wagons heal, or at least make senate produce generals so I can heal my damn units

Heck, I've been messing around with the files, but not much luck there too, I tried modifying 2 rules.xml files somewhere in the folders, but to no avail

I got that from a mod I found online that states that a certain code line related to the supply wagons which can make them heal, I edited, but no use..

ok, after more digging, I found out that there is rules.xml in the mod files that the game priorities over the original one if u r using mods, I disabled the mod im using(I was only using 1), and found out that the changes I made was made

what is odd though is that a whole scenario that I kept using to test the change was COMPLETELY changed, even though the mod has NO relation whatsoever to that

The scenario is me using the 1st turn in alexander the great campaign to attack the Persians, first giveaway to my attempt succeeding is that the whole map changed, but still in context

my theory is that some CTW campaigns scenarios changed from when the mods were made? and somehow the scripts in the mods use the old scenarios. maybe its not limited to this campaign?

btw the mode I was using is 'The great war', damn good mod, its a CTW campaign mod
