Not sure why this is not an issue for most of not all, but me. Playing from sofa with 4k resolution on tv and having this hard to locate thing to play the game with is agony. Even when its colour is not camouflaged with the background.

Had a game where the pointer was an image file in game dir. Solved the problem simply by resizing it. Please let me know if I missed this option.
