Mod suggestions
The game is amazing and I think the modding community can do wonders with this game. I leave you some suggestions for mods:
1. Multiplayer campaign configuration: change turns by year, equipment and level of generals at the beginning, resources at the beginning...
2. Units: unit skins and new units, different general bodyguard skins for each faction (minor factions) Minor factions should have general bodyguards different from each other (like Ithaca, Aeolia, Mennon...)
3. Cavalry: add cavalry and the general's bodyguards (see point 4) to all factions (maybe centaurs for the Mycenaeans and Trojan cavalry for Troy, cavalry and camels for Egypt), maybe elephants?
4. Ancillaries: Helmets for all cultures (too cool to be only in Egypt, chorintian helmets pls), more variety of ancillaries, horses as mounts for generals (general's bodyguards as cavalry)
5. Diplomacy: being able to exchange and adopt generals and characters from the faction (such as Diomedes, Aeneas, generals...), ancillaries exchanges...

I noticed in my Babylon Campaign I turned on Immortal Faction Leaders and chose the HAMMURABI THE LAWMAKER Ancient Legacy, unfortunately the only way to revoke laws you don't need anymore in that legacy is to "change" faction leaders, and I think the only way to change leader is to have them killed via old age or of course battle. It seems like an oversite that this Legacy can't function mid-late game unless the faction leader dies. I would like to see a mod that would give you the option to revoke the laws every # of turns (every 10,15,20, etc) if possible.

I'd love addition of Hanigalbat units to Assyria proper roster. More specifically I mean:

- Assur Militia,
- Assur Levies,
- Assyrian Sappers,
- Nineveh Spearmen,
- Nineveh Defenders,
- Assur Chariots

And potentially also:
- Kalhu Chargers,
- Harran Chargers

Sadly my modding skills are non-existant ;)

1. No cavalry/camels mod, replacing horses and camels with other units for historical accuracy
2. Playable Knossos (Crete) mod

I agree with you so much on point 2

The generic characters in this game look TERRIBLE...especially the Egyptian leaders. Clones upon clones with the same butt ugly "I just smelled poop" faces

At least the other generic leaders look decent but for a game called Pharaoh, them generics are the worst

WH3 is a good example. With the right combination of mods there are no longer any generic leaders left on the map. Campaign has 277 factions and you can make it some almost none of the leaders are clones.

obviously this game doesn't have the massive community but I would be willing to pay for more unique characters...

- More character variation for generals;

- AAA from Rome 2 for TW: Pharaoh;

- Supply mechanics (gotta raid/sack if my army is 10 regions away from home);

- Internal faction court politics (betrayals and rebellions, general outside of your dynasty need to be a liability);

- Army traditions;

- Unit upgrade mechanic (levy->regular->veteran->elite) after sufficient chevrons achieved;

- Rebalancing unit upkeep (some regulars with 40-50 armor do not cost bronze, why?)

- Customizability of lethality (1/4 and 1/2 of base at least)

Yes i agree.
-We need more units with more elite skins, many factions specially minor factions have few elite units. We need mods that add skins and for example elite swords to boeotians and thracia.

- The game is unbalanced because mesopotamians factions can win the battles so easy with the cavalry, make cavalry bodyguards and some native or unique cavalry units for some factions will be more fun to play this game

-Its a shame that only Egyptians can have unique helmets, i think all courts should have their unique helmets for make the succesors look different with the time. Add more ancilliaries skins will be better, for example add more skins to swords, only are 2 in the game, khopes and generic sword, thracia have 2 uniques sword skins but the general only can use the ugly one.

-Other shame is that you cant play with a general of other faction when you married him with some one of your faction. The succesors cant be choosen by you like in Rome 2, you can have 3 children and the old one is your succesor, that disappointed me

- New faction leaders retain faction leader armor;
- rework unit rosters to finally utilize dual equipment properly (most were spearmen with sword/axe as sidearm, no need for dedicated spearmen unit)
- ability to recruit t1 and t2 only (link with growth/workforce available), advanced versions of units (veterans, armoured, renowned) to come from upgrades (attila style unit upgrades), unit caps optional
