Workshop and the future patches
Hello o/

I would like to inquire on the future of the workshop tool and share some ideas.
These are just my opinions but i suspect other people have thought about atleast one of the following;

General UI changes to workshop
I would love to see a more simplified look for the menus, such as a default alt+hotkey dropdown menu that almost every single program has in the upper part of the screen.
This would not only increase the screenspace for mappers, but also make the options more clear. All i really use now in the menus is Save, Publish and Switch layer.

Selecting tiles
The tile selection menu on the bot of the screen is a bit cramped in my opinion. I'd like to see some alternatives to this, as scrolling past the tiles and / or graphics with Q and E is currently the most efficient method.
What i would do here is open up a new window for the selected tool, as in Tile selection tool would have its own movable, adjustable box with a close button (or a default X in the corner).
These movable frames should have a dropdown box for layer selection.

Properties window
As in; Currently you need to rightclick the desired object to show the properties in a popup menu. I kinda dislike this as exiting that menu can cause some unwanted clicks on the map itself (placing objects, graphics, tiles, and whatever :'<).
My solution for this would be a new properties window that stays open and updates by the selected object. It would be closed by default but showable by right clicking the object or from the upper menu under "view" or whatever you want to call it, you know this stuff.

Graphics tool
This is probably the thing i have the biggest issues with.
First of all finding the desired graphic you want to add to the map is such a load of work, i usually scroll past the list with Q and E and paste the desired graphics in a pile in the map just so its easier to find them again.
Having a window like i suggested in the tile part would be so awesome for this too, it takes forever to find something specific and i usually forget what i wanted to do before i find it.

Also, Have you noticed that moving placed graphics is a bit broken at the moment? selecting overlapping graphics is almost impossible without moving stuff out of the way cause the selection just keeps jumping off and on.

Graphical properties could also use some extra candy, like maybe the possibility to change the opacity and maybe unlocking the corners to be sizable as well (eg. moving the left corner lower than the right corner).

TLDR;
How about making the UI more friendly by creating a window set that you can open, scale and close by will? Listing Objects, Tiles and Graphics there would make creating content so much faster.

I doubt you'll start to overhaul ws anytime soon, but please consider some of these in the future.

Addition:

New features (Objects)
What i mean by this is simply new objects to let players interact with he map a bit more.
One of these would definitely be the " Frozen surface " that acts like the name says, it would certainly add a twist to places that require slowing down for a strat to work.
I would also love to see a Force parameter in the Bubblebooster (Just gonna call it a Bubbler from now on, fukken terminology eh?) that allows us to change how much a Bubbler pushes players to the selected direction.

Also a few things that i cant bother typing more about:
Allow invisible gates
More models to the Bird object (I like the idea behind it, now give us more!)
Sounds to the Sound object you added, think this is map based aswell as the bird.
Gravity flip - running on the floor turns into running on the roof (Didnt you have this implemented at some point?)

Invisible gates are for redicting player movement to a different direction without the usage of Bubbleboosters or other extensive nonsense.
