Despite checkpoints errors, your whole map is driven by bubbles. Sometimes even invisible, misleading, we don't know where to go at all.
There's almost nowhere to build custom speed but at the bottom, on a straight line.
You're getting stopped most of the time. The left part is far too wide.
Layout isn't really cool at some spots, one pixel grapples aren't looking good. You have some areas with 1 pixel floor, then 2 pixels, then 3 pixels. I find this inconsistency very uneasy.
Graphic wise, it's okay. I like the shape some tiles takes, it's pretty original.
If I stumbled upon your map on a random quick match and I would've given a downvote anyway because gameplay is mostly what matters (except if graphics are fabulous).
Or maybe I'm just a noob?
Keep in mind that your map can't please everybody. Plus, it appears to be one of your first maps. No matter how long/how hard you worked on it. Sometimes the simplest and not-much-worked-on maps can be very satisfying in a matter of gameplay.
I can agree this is frustrating seeing Smash Bros map made in 2 minutes becoming popular but as you said, alot of people (maybe majority) play SpeedRunners for fun and they are beginners, usually spend their time playing something like 10 maps then logout. They don't want to loose time learning the game because they had enough fun with their friends, and that's all that matters, you can't blame them.
I'm not here to debate the way that guy pissed you off, but that's just a game. How about just ignore him? Just keep going, I'm sure you'll be able to create something people may enjoy at a larger audience and so would you.
I'd love to have a map category for workshop thought. Standard, Arena, Battle, Challenge, Fun or something among these lines, allowing us to hide/disable some map by category.
Try the other one if you'd like to have speed and fun with "speed trick challenges", and don't say ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about checkpoints, they are perfect ;)
I'll keep on facts then. You do have checkpoint errors! Don't you dare saying it's perfect when it's not! I've just spent less than a minute on your map, and here's a NON EXHAUSTIVE list of incorrect checkpoints/checkpoints errors!

Please, stop being so close minded.
Yes some could seems illogics, but i want them like that, to reward who take the most tricky path.
- For this one : http://i.imgur.com/LGHdIR9.jpg , the one who pass under cannot be in front, so i move the checkpoint to be sure that who opened the trig will be always in pole position.
- For this : http://i.imgur.com/XCRISPQ.jpg , i reward who take the other path, well, i want to be sure that he will not be killed the first if the other player is in the mini "prison" by missing to jump. (Sorry for my ultrabad english, i try to explain ^^)
- For this http://i.imgur.com/IALCOU6.jpg , i wanted to be sure who take this good path will not be killed the first, so i did let the "error". But finally i moved the trigger, so it's fixed too.
Thanks again ^^
