Can't update workshop item anymore
So I was working on my map, but apparently whenever I save I can't update the existing workshop item anymore. I have tried restarting the game but it didn't fix it. I really don't wanna lose the old workshop item. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I have this too, pressing publish just gives you the option to publish as a new publishment and not appending

When that happens what i do is i go to the workshop page of the item i want to update, then i change the name to something random, then i go in-game and change the map file name's to the same name that i put on the workshop item, and then it's gonna appear to update the published map, after updating it you can change the map's name back(In-game, not in the workshop page) and update it again.

There was a problem detecting if the file you were editing was already published or not. But this should be fixed in a later update.

For now, try to open the published version of your level and edit that one, this one should always be able to be updated.

Are you changing the name of the local version of the level you are editing?

Nah the local files are always the same name as the published ones, except for the possible _test builds.
I usually fix that by just manually deleting the copied map in Workshop and updating the map all over again

This is cool if you are just starting with the mapping project, but losing all subs after each update is just a hassle in the long term
