Workshop maps can't make mission file in the editor

trying to make a blank mission file and every time i try and do this it throws me a error works fine for base game maps but can't do it for workshop maps

Try this, open the map in the editor. Then use "Save As", to save it locally to your map folder. Then you should be able to add a mission file.

you beautiful beast it would make sense that the workshop folder doesn't have write perms
you don't how long i have been looking around to try and figure this out
